Natixis IM: N. Wallace new Global Head of Sustainable Investing
Natixis Investment Managers, one of the world's largest asset managers with €1,152.8 billion in assets under management, has appointed Nathalie Wallace as Global Head of Sustainable Investing.
In this role, Nathalie Wallace will be responsible for implementing the ESG (Environmental Social Governance) commitment of Natixis Investment Managers, or Natixis IM, across its distribution network, subsidiaries and as part of industry-wide initiatives, the company writes. ESG is at the heart of Natixis IM's strategic ambitions, with a goal of investing around €600 billion, or 50 percent of assets under management, in the sustainable or impact investment category by 2024, it said.
The new woman will be instrumental in strengthening the firm's ESG capabilities and further developing its suite of innovative sustainable solutions to make Natixis IM the most client-focused asset manager in the world, the financial firm said.
Working closely with investment managers, Nathalie Wallace will lead the firm's growth in all aspects of sustainable investing, with the goal of having 100 percent of affiliated companies sign the UNPRI (Principles for Responsible Investment) by 2024. She will also focus on supporting clients on their ESG journey, from early ESG integration to allocation to impact investing.
