SwissEnergy: new website and new corporate design
SwissEnergy, the Swiss Federal Office of Energy's program for renewable energy and energy efficiency, is entering a new decade. To mark the occasion, there is a new program strategy, a new, user-friendly website and a fresh look.
The new website www.energieschweiz.ch is the most important publication platform of SwissEnergy. It contains information and advice for private individuals, companies and the public sector on their way to an efficient and sustainable use of energy. The new website guides users intuitively through the various topics, according to the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (see illustration).
Reduced design
The new image is reduced, uniform and stringent, writes the SFOE. It conveys the SwissEnergy brand values of neutrality, trust, professionalism and relevance. The visual implementation is based on the "guiding principles" of personal, innovative, dynamic and sustainable.
Program strategy for 2021 to 2030
With the program strategy for the new decade 2021-2030, the SwissEnergy program can be managed more flexibly and thus better adapt to the higher dynamics in the energy market, as the SFOE emphasizes. The content would be focused and the previous priorities replaced by three priority fields of action:
- Building efficiency and renewable energies for private households
(cf. chapter 3 in the program strategy). - Mobility of private households and companies
(cf. chapter 4 in the program strategy). - Plants and processes in industry and services
(cf. chapter 5 in the program strategy).
According to the SFOE, the three areas mentioned above are responsible for 74 percent of Switzerland's final energy consumption. At least three quarters of the total budget of SwissEnergy should be used for measures in these three fields of action. In 2021, the total budget would be 43.5 million Swiss francs.
In addition to the priority fields of action, there are other fields of action and cross-cutting issues. These include, among others, the areas of networks and storage, education and training, cities and municipalities, communication, cooperation with the climate program of the Federal Office for the Environment, and digitization, the media release concludes.
