The three companies RST Recycling, Sanierung Thale GmbH and Next Data Service AG have launched a joint venture in connection with a disposal solution: It is about the "Mineral Waste Manager", an automated order processing for the disposal of mineral waste. The innovation uses artificial intelligence (AI) to evaluate soil surveys and determine the waste code and load class. These criteria are crucial for disposal companies to be able to calculate a reliable offer, the three companies write.
Reduce bureaucratic effort
"Mineral construction and demolition waste and excavated soil make up a large part of the waste stream throughout Germany. But until now, the bureaucratic effort involved in preparing offers was extremely high and a major cost driver," explains Carl W. Finck, Managing Director of RST. Thanks to the program of the waste management company and the Next software developers, it is possible to get from the inquiry to the offer five times faster and to almost halve the sales costs.
"Our goal is to make the huge potential of digitization and new technologies accessible to the entire industry. During development, we therefore attached great importance to intuitive handling," says Next board member Sebastian Busse, who is responsible for the technical implementation. The software can be used directly in the Internet browser. Once the request has been uploaded, the customer immediately receives all the information required for order processing.
