Best employers in Switzerland
In a large nationwide survey, the rating and ranking agency ServiceValue has investigated which companies enjoy a good reputation as employers among the population and are considered attractive. 805 companies are evaluated by the population in the study "Best Employers - Switzerland 2023".
Many modern economies are currently facing an aging population and changing work ideals, as well as the resulting challenges in the labor market.
Method
The study consists of surveys via online panels. In them, citizens are asked to rate companies where they themselves or people from their circle of acquaintances work in terms of their quality as an employer. Specifically, the question is: "How would you rate [Company X]'s image or attractiveness as an employer?" Positive and negative associations as well as perceptions and information from others can help shape the overall impression. Based on the respondents' assessments, an unweighted average value is calculated for each company using a five-point response scale, which then determines the company's position in the ranking. Companies with above-average scores receive the "high attractiveness" award. Companies that also score above average within this group receive the "very high attractiveness" award. The survey is conducted without the involvement of the companies assessed.
Employer with "very high attractiveness
From the respondents' point of view, Victorinox has the highest attractiveness as an employer, followed by Ricola and Zweifel. They and 27 other companies are listed below as the top-rated of all employers surveyed.

Other employers with "very high attractiveness" include The Swatch Group, Emmi, Zurich Insurance Group, Migros Group, Jowa, Schweizer Reisekasse Reka, suva Schweizerische Unfallversicherungsanstalt and Weleda.
