Laemmle Chemicals relies on Switzerland as a business location

While numerous industrial companies are relocating their production abroad, Laemmle Chemicals is resolutely going against the tide and is once again investing heavily in its domestic business location. With the acquisition of an 11,600 m² industrial site in Mönchaltorf in the canton of Zurich, Laemmle Chemicals is setting the course for sustainable, future-oriented production.

Laemmle Chemicals will merge the production of its subsidiaries Fripoo Produkte AG and Amstutz Produkte AG at this new site, which will result in considerable synergies in the use of raw materials, manufacturing processes and the product portfolio. In future, related product categories will be produced at a joint site, which will maximize efficiency and further increase innovative strength and profitability. The conversion work will already begin this year, so that the entire production operation will take place there from 2026 following gradual commissioning. Despite the merger, one thing is guaranteed: The established and successful brands Amstutz, Polyston, Fiesta and Allerno will remain and retain their identity.

Record investment with enormous growth potential

The new site includes an existing, state-of-the-art 7,500 m² production and storage hall as well as an extensive logistics transshipment area. But this is just the beginning: an additional building land reserve offers space for another hall of the same size. "This is the biggest investment in our company's history," emphasizes Sarah Mohr-Lämmle, CEO and co-owner. "Made in Switzerland is part of our corporate philosophy. We are sending a clear message: LAEMMLE Chemicals is committed to Switzerland as a production country, as a location for innovation and as a basis for sustainable growth."

A strong signal for Swiss industry

"While other companies are outsourcing their production, we are making a targeted investment in the future of Swiss industry - and not for the first time," adds Silvan Lämmle, CEO and co-owner. "With its excellent infrastructure, stable economic situation and secure political environment, we are convinced that Switzerland is the ideal production country - and we are exploiting the resulting opportunities to the benefit of Switzerland as a business location and our region."
