Anita Stebler has been at home in the export industry for over 30 years and is very much looking forward to the office. "I work for our family business in Portugal, Germany and the USA, among other countries, and am therefore actively committed to Switzerland as a prosperous export nation."

Andreas Stöckli, CEO of logistics service provider Rhenus Alpina and a member of the Swiss Export Board of Directors since 2016, will be the new Vice President. The two foreign trade specialists are taking over from Carl Ziegler. He has stepped down after nine years as President of Swiss Export. Under his aegis, the number of members of the industry association grew by 9.6 percent last year alone. Year after year, the Swiss Export Days attracted an ever larger audience with their high-caliber guests. Most recently, over 600 guests attended.

Carl Ziegler shaped the association with open dialog, friendship and the courage to embrace change and is very grateful for this experience. "My time as President of Swiss Export flew by. I have fond memories of when we filmed the interview with Federal Councillor Parmelin on the escalator from the train station to the Federal Palace in Bern, or when we recorded the Swiss Export day at Bystronic AG during coronavirus. We also celebrated our 50th anniversary alongside many other successes and emerged stronger from crises."
