Selma Finance launches crowdinvesting campaign
On September 10, 2024, Selma Finance is launching a crowdinvesting campaign and offering investors the opportunity to become part of the Swiss fintech company. The digital wealth manager will use the funds to further develop Selma AI, expand its offering and strengthen Selma Finance's position as Switzerland's leading financial advisor.
From now on, investors can become part of the future of Selma Finance for as little as CHF 250. However, the company does not want to use the campaign to raise capital for its day-to-day business: "Our advantage over other Swiss fintech companies is that our core business could already be operated profitably. With our crowdinvesting campaign, we now want to involve people who believe in our vision of democratized and technology-supported financial advice and want to invest in our further development," explains Patrik Schär, CEO of Selma.
Selma AI sets new standards in the world of finance
A key part of Selma Finance's innovation strategy is Selma AI, Switzerland's first artificial intelligence to act as a financial advisor. Since its launch in spring 2024, Selma AI has revolutionized the way financial advice is offered, enabling a broad target group to gain access to personalized and data-driven advice. The crowdinvesting funds will be used specifically to further develop Selma AI and consolidate its leading position in the market. Among other things, this includes the further development of the algorithms in order to be able to offer even more precise and personalized financial solutions.
"Current developments in the financial sector show that the digitalization of services is becoming increasingly important. With Selma AI, we are not only offering an innovative solution, but are also focusing on big trends such as personalized financial solutions and the democratization of financial advice. These trends are the key to long-term success and offering our customers real added value," says Patrik Schär.
Expanded range for the future
Selma Finance also plans to expand its offering to new areas of advice such as retirement planning, insurance requirements and mortgage and tax issues in order to provide comprehensive financial advice.
Interested parties can register for crowdfunding at this link from now until September 23, 2024. From September 23, 2024, only registered users will have the opportunity to invest in Selma Finance until the investment target of one million Swiss francs has been reached. If the investment target has not yet been reached by October 7, Selma will open up crowdinvesting to the general public.
