Microsoft BI Practice Day: IT-Logix invites you to the Uetliberg
The IT consultancy IT-Logix, which focuses on business intelligence (BI), data analytics, data warehousing and data science / AI, is hosting the Microsoft BI working group MAKE BI for the eighth time on September 17, 2024 on the Uetliberg near Zurich.
Participants can exchange ideas with contacts from Microsoft, customers, IT-Logix and other participants and discuss questions relating to methodology, design and technology with Microsoft's BI platform Power BI. The opening speech will be given by Andrew Reid, Global Partner Solutions Director and member of the Executive Board of Microsoft Switzerland. The customer case will show how Valores successfully implemented an ambitious data warehouse project with IT-Logix in an agile manner, building up and securing customer know-how despite changing requirements and owners.
The presentations will focus on applications such as the Power BI Adoption Framework for the successful introduction of Microsoft Power BI, the end-to-end analysis and data platform Microsoft Fabric and its optimal use with modeling and automation solutions, through to the topic of collaboration in BI projects, for example with Inforiver Writeback Matrix, a tool for data analysis, commenting and planning in Power BI. Finally, a Power BI hands-on session will provide a practical introduction to Power BI and dimensional modeling according to Kimball.
