Ergon Informatik achieves sales of CHF 73.3 million in 2023. This corresponds to year-on-year growth of 11 percent. The Zurich-based IT service provider and manufacturer of the Airlock - Secure Access Hub gains 39 new customers and 50 new businesses, while the number of employees rises to 431.

"We have been leading our customers to success for forty years. We accompany them through all phases of digitalization - from the idea to market success. In this way, we continue to develop dynamically and shape our future in a targeted manner. In doing so, we have constantly expanded our range of services. Our unique corporate culture and the commitment of our employees are our most important assets," says Gabriela Keller, CEO of Ergon Informatik. The broad-based client portfolio makes Ergon resilient and consolidates the company's position in the market. The focus remains unchanged in the financial sector.

Growth and innovation in banking

Ergon once again proves itself to be a strong technology partner for banks and financial service providers. The successful collaboration with Rulematch is particularly noteworthy. The Swiss company is one of the first interbank trading platforms for digital assets - developed exclusively for financial institutions. Ergon supported Rulematch for over two years: from the idea, conception and implementation to the go-live.

Ergon reaches another milestone with the leading digital pension platform VIAC. The new app for the 3A pension solution has been revised and relaunched in 2023. Ergon has supported the start-up since it was founded.

On the road to success with SBB

Together with SBB, Ergon has successfully carried out a study on the use of voice recognition for the operation of the SBB's radio track indicator app. Ergon and SBB see great potential for voice input to simplify the use of the app for shunting workers in extreme weather conditions.

Airlock continues to grow

Airlock wins numerous new customers in Germany and abroad and records increasing demand from existing customers. For example, the security solution in the area of Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) has gained a new customer from the telecommunications and energy sectors. SSI technology focuses on the decentralized storage of identity data and the consistent consent of users to release this data.

Airlock reviewed the IT security of the "Geberit Connect" platform for Geberit and developed a threat model. The platform networks sanitary products - from the toilet to the washbasin. As part of a security consulting mandate, Airlock determined the extent to which "Geberit Connect" meets the standards of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute. These standards apply to all devices that can be connected wirelessly.

Airlock has recorded another success with a leading Swiss company in the field of identity and access management. Airlock has increased the number of IAM users due to the growing number of users of the company app. In 2023, over five million registered users were using the app.
