At its most recent meeting, the Board of Directors voted unanimously in favor of Philipp Marti. "Philipp Marti has many years of professional and management experience at executive and board level in FINMA-regulated companies. He complements the Board of Directors very well with both his expertise and his personality," says findependent founder Matthias Bryner, explaining the appointment. The new Board of Directors chaired by Philipp Marti also includes Miklos Stanek, Lukas Speiser and Matthias Bryner.

Between 2002 and 2018, Philipp Marti was CFO and a member of the Executive Board of VZ Holding as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the Swiss subsidiaries of VZ Holding AG and a member of the Supervisory Board of VZ Depotbank in Germany. "Close to the customer no longer stands for the bank branch around the corner with advice during office hours, but for digital, easy-to-understand, transparent solutions that are available around the clock. This means that financial services can also be offered very cost-effectively," explains Philipp Marti. "Findependent is an extremely promising player and provider of this new banking", Marti continues.

Demand for the findependent investment app has indeed picked up significantly in recent months. In January alone, more new customers were welcomed than in the entire summer of 2023, making it all the more important to set the strategic course for the future. With his many years of experience, Marti will support the sharpening of the company's profile as a digital asset manager and strengthen its position in the market.
