Around 50 companies, from global players to local heroes, already use cora. Now pidas AG is spinning off its successful IT machine into a new company. cora technology solutions AG will focus on further development and market expansion.

The idea behind cora is to simplify IT support with an "IT kiosk". The idea was born in 2017 after a pidas AG customer presentation in Frankfurt. A few months later, the company delivered the first cora prototypes. Since then, the intelligent IT machine has been continuously developed with customers and partners and is already in use in ten European countries. In Switzerland, companies such as Mobiliar, Migros and the Canton of Zurich rely on cora. In Germany, renowned companies such as the Deutsche Börse Group, VW and Provinzial Versicherungen use cora. Within pidas AG, cora has developed into the most successful product and has already won numerous prizes, such as the renowned iF Design Award.

Nothing changes for customers and partners with the spin-off

After six years, cora becomes independent. pidas AG spins off cora and the associated Workplace Automation division into a separate company. cora technology solutions AG will take over responsibility for cora on February 1, 2024. For pidas CEO Pascal Wolf, the move is a logical one: "I am proud of cora," he explains, "Given its success story, it is now time for cora to stand on its own two feet and for the team to focus fully on further development and market expansion." pidas AG and cora technology solutions AG will continue to work together as partners. Customers, partners and suppliers will continue to benefit from the rapid success story - nothing will change in day-to-day business.

New Work as a growth accelerator

As an intelligent IT machine, cora relieves the burden on IT departments, which are under considerable strain as the digital transformation progresses. What's more, there is currently not only a technological but also a cultural change taking place. Concepts such as New Work are changing work processes, while the need for flexible IT solutions is growing. Hybrid working, a new workplace design with shared desks, an increase in locations and individualized working hours pose new logistical challenges for IT. Cora is a solution that enables sustainable working models and economic advantages in different companies, company sizes and sectors. With cora, field support assignments can be reduced by up to 80 %.

Never change a winning team

cora technology solutions AG will be managed by Melanie Müller. As former Head of Marketing at pidas AG, Melanie Müller has been with the company from day one and will lead cora into a successful future as CEO. "cora has been on the market for six years and is the original," she explains her confidence. "My team and I are highly motivated and ready for the next big steps." With her core team of seven, Melanie Müller is targeting companies with more than 500 employees. First in Switzerland and Germany, then internationally. Like the CEO position, all other key positions have been filled by proven specialists who have been involved in cora's success story for many years. Saifudin Sharityar continues to look after all customers as Chief Customer Officer, Roland Waniek looks after all partners as Sales & Partner Manager and Marcel Leonhard is responsible for hardware and software as Chief Product Officer.
