Expo Event: new chapter, fresh appearance, sharpened identity

The new name not only reflects the association's ambitions, but also its increased national significance. Switzerland-wide coverage is achieved by the board members Nicole Pandiscia-Hasler from Ticino and Tania Cullen from French-speaking Switzerland. This better reflects the diversity of cultures and language coverage. President Christian Künzli emphasizes the importance of this development: "The integration of our Italian and French-speaking colleagues is a decisive step towards consolidating our position as a national association that encompasses all parts of the country. This demonstrates our practiced values of heterogeneity and diversity in unity and unification." The redesign serves as a symbol of the association's ongoing development and its ability to adapt in a constantly changing market environment.

The new logo: a synthesis of tradition and future vision

The redesigned logo retains the characteristic "X" that is well-known in the industry. Bala Trachsel, Vice President and responsible for association communication, explains the meaning behind it: "The X stands not only for linking different aspects of our industry, but also for bringing together different people, ideas and services. And the X has established itself as a trademark in the industry. We want to use this effect of recognition to our advantage". The redesign of the logo is a central aspect of the association's comprehensive strategy, which aims to increase its visibility and relevance, and symbolizes the goal of continuous development and adaptation to new market requirements.

Increased influence in political and social areas

The Swiss LiveCom Association aims to increase its influence in both political and social areas. This is reflected in its commitment during times of crisis (especially during the COVID-19 pandemic) and in initiatives to promote sustainability (Event Sustainability Monitor, Certification Sustainability Management Systems) and young talent (GoBackstage). "As an industry association, it is our job to be the voice of our members. We do this through public relations work, for example against the shortage of skilled workers, and by representing political interests. Our work was particularly important for the industry during COVID-19," emphasizes Christian Künzli.

A new chapter begins with a new identity

With the introduction of the new name and logo, the Swiss LiveCom Association is embarking on a new chapter in its history. "Our new identity is more than a symbol; it is a promise to our members and partners that we will continue to develop tirelessly and not only meet the expectations of the industry, but exceed them," explains Christian Künzli. This continuous development of the association goes hand in hand with efforts to strengthen the Swiss LiveCom industry both locally and internationally. Christian Künzli explains: "Our goal is to lead the industry into a sustainable and diverse future that reflects and promotes the unique diversity of our country."
