Daniel Bloch becomes patron of SVC Espace Mittelland
There will be a change in the patronage of SVC Espace Mittelland: chocolate entrepreneur Daniel Bloch will take over this honorary position from 2024. He succeeds Rudolf Stämpfli, former President of the employers' association, who held this position for over 10 years.

Daniel Bloch, CEO and co-owner of Chocolats Camille Bloch SA, has also been committed to SMEs and entrepreneurship in Switzerland for many years as Vice President of Chocosuisse and member of the Board of economiesuisse.
Daniel Bloch is the third generation to run the Swiss family business Chocolats Camille Bloch SA in Courtelary - with its well-known brands Ragusa and Torino. The entrepreneur has also been a finalist in the Prix SVC Espace Mittelland: in 2015, he was awarded 2nd place.
As patron of the award ceremony, Daniel Bloch now succeeds Rudolf Stämpfli from the Bern-based printing and publishing group of the same name.
"The Prix SVC is one of the most prestigious awards for SMEs. It is important that these entrepreneurial achievements and the innovative strength of our economy are made visible again and again. I am delighted to be supporting this good cause as patron in future," explains Daniel Bloch. In his new role, he will also become a member of the SVC Honorary Patronage.
