Kristian Kabashi wins the swissalbs entrepreneurship award 2023

The Albanian-Swiss association swissalbs has announced the winner of its coveted entrepreneurship award for the year 2023. The award was presented to Kristian Kabashi, co-founder and board member of FinTech startup Numarics, by a prominent jury including BRACK.CH founder Roland Brack, National Councilor Andri Silberschmidt and elleXX co-founder Nadine Jürgensen. The award ceremony took place as part of the swissalbs Entrepreneurs' Ball on September 23 at the sold-out Kongresshaus Zurich.

The swissalbs Entrepreneur Award recognizes exceptional entrepreneurial achievements, celebrates the innovative strength of the Albanian community and serves as an inspiration for the entire swissalbs community. Kristian Kabashi was selected by a jury consisting of personalities such as Roland Brack, founder of BRACK.CH, Nadine Jürgensen, co-founder of elleXX, Andri Silberschmidt, FDP National Councillor, Vllaznim Xhiha, philanthropist and serial entrepreneur, and Jeton Tolaj, CEO of Wirz AG Bauunternehmungen, for his outstanding achievements.

Kristian Kabashi is a co-founder and board member of Numarics, a FinTech startup that provides an all-in-one solution for financial services. The company combines human expertise with technology and artificial intelligence to offer customers a comprehensive range of different services. Honoring Kristian Kabashi with the swissalbs Entrepreneur Award recognizes not only his past achievements, but also his significant contribution to the transformation of the financial sector through innovative technologies and a holistic approach. In his acceptance speech, Kristian Kabashi emphasized, "I am deeply honored and inspired to receive this prestigious award from swissalbs. Since the latest financing round, major bank UBS has been the main investor in the Zurich-based fintech company. UBS has also announced a strategic partnership with Numarics, which aims to provide integrated financial and administrative solutions for SMEs to reduce their administrative burden.

Platform for Swiss-Albanian entrepreneurship

In addition to Kristian Kabashi's award, the event included live music, entertainment, and inspiring speeches from high-profile figures in Swiss business and politics. swissalbs is a non-profit organization based in Zurich that was founded in 2018 by Përparim Avdili, Bardhyl Coli, Arbela Statovci, and Burim Hasani. The association hosts an annual Entrepreneurs' Ball that brings together entrepreneurs from the swissalbs community. The event provides a platform for networking, sharing ideas and promoting business opportunities.
