Remo Fehlmann becomes new director of the Sursee Campus
Remo Fehlmann will take over as director of the Sursee campus on August 1, 2020. He succeeds Daniel Suter, who will retire on this date and has been at the helm of the largest education and seminar center for over seven years.
After an intensive selection phase, the Board of Trustees of Campus Sursee now presents the successor for Daniel Suter, who will retire in 2020: Remo Fehlmann (51). With Fehlmann, the Foundation gains an experienced leader with an extensive and solid track record in the field of seminary, education and association management. Fehlmann was director of the Seminarhotel Sempachersee in Nottwil (LU) from 2000 to 2015 and then director of Gastrosuisse for one and a half years. He also holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Business Excellence.
Strong leader with many years of experience
Gian-Luca Lardi, President of the Board of Trustees, is delighted with the election: "With Remo Fehlmann, we have a strong leadership personality on board. In addition, as a proven entrepreneur and implementer with over 25 years of experience in strategic and operational management positions, Fehlmann has a large network."
Into the next decade with Remo Fehlmann
Fehlmann's task will be, among other things, to define and implement the strategy for the next decade in close cooperation with the Foundation Board. The focus will be on the core task of the Sursee campus, the education and training of the construction industry; this will benefit from the seminar and sports activities that have spread in recent years.
Remo Fehlmann is the father of two children and lives in Nottwil (LU). The Board of Trustees is pleased to have him in its ranks and is convinced that, together with him, the Sursee Campus will continue to enjoy a successful future.
