The BFH Engineering and Information Technology Career Day offers both participating companies and future graduates of technical degree programs a unique opportunity for personal and uncomplicated exchange. Around 70 companies from all over Switzerland will be presenting themselves at exhibition stands on the SIPBB premises on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Prospective specialists will gain an insight into professional entry and career opportunities and can make valuable contacts with attractive employers beyond their studies. For the first time on Career Day, we will also be welcoming students from the Höhere Fachschule für Technik Mittelland (HFTM), underlining our joint efforts to combat the shortage of skilled workers.

For the third time, Career Day 2024 will combine the "talentefinder" matchmaking platform and the tried-and-tested on-site exhibition. The online platform works like a dating app on which companies can meet prospective specialists both digitally and on site.

In addition, the Bern University Counseling Center offers students support with their career planning as part of the Career Day. They benefit from individual consultations and can have their CVs assessed free of charge by specialists from individual companies.

Who is the Career Day aimed at?

The companies' offer is aimed at all students of the eight Bachelor's degree programs at BFH Engineering and Computer Science: Automotive and Vehicle Engineering, Data Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Informatics, Mechatronics and Systems Engineering (Medical Engineering | Robotics) and Industrial Engineering and Management.
