First HR Day Southeastern Switzerland in Chur
On March 7, 2024, the first HR Day Southeastern Switzerland will take place in the GKB Auditorium in Chur. At the HR Day, Jörg Buckmann, Tina E. L. Dyck, Raphael Herzog, Christoph Kohler and representatives of various millennial boards will offer exciting insights into the challenges of the current working world.
The demographic trend in Switzerland poses significant challenges: By 2030, the baby boomers will retire, while comparatively fewer people will enter the workforce. This shift will lead to a drastic reduction in the workforce. At the same time, the digital transformation is imminent, which is tantamount to an industrial revolution. For millennials in particular, meaning in work is becoming increasingly important, coupled with values such as individuality and self-realization.
New challenges for employers
Traditional corporate components such as inertia towards change, hierarchical structures and transactional management styles are being rejected by the younger generation. Employers are faced with the task of adapting their recruitment, retention, customer acquisition and customer care to the needs of this new generation. It is clear that realigning the value proposition of employers to the requirements of the new generation is of crucial importance. Traditional HR work must therefore reinvent itself.
It was in this context that the HR Day South Eastern Switzerland was launched. The aim of the first HR conference in Chur is to bring together HR experts, HR specialists and managers from SMEs. Current and fundamental issues in the world of HR are to be discussed together. The first HR Day Southeastern Switzerland will take place on March 7, 2024, from 1.30 pm to 6.30 pm, including a networking aperitif, in the GKB Auditorium in Chur and was launched by Galledia Event AG in cooperation with Somedia AG.
