Investing in the training of environmental officers
Investments in the future are important even in times of crisis. Systematic environmental protection measures pay off in the longer term, for example through the reduction of energy, material and disposal costs as well as incentive taxes. For environmental sustainability to be approached systematically, a professional basis is necessary.
Swissmem's basic course for environmental officers lays the foundation for this complex area of responsibility. The five-day training course provides comprehensive basic knowledge of environmental protection relevant to the company. It covers the relevant topics from CO2 management to environmental management, from eco-design to waste, and helps participants to find their way through the multitude of environmental protection laws, ordinances and guidelines.
The course is aimed at environmental managers in industrial and service companies. The course participants benefit from the many years of practical experience of 17 experts - specialists from industry, consulting and administration.
