Environmental technology fair MUT is postponed to 2023
The environmental technology fair MUT will not take place in October 2021 as planned. The event will be postponed to 2023.
The planned environmental technology fair MUT in Basel has to be cancelled for this year or postponed to 2023, as MCH Swiss Exhibition (Basel) Ltd. has just announced.
Next date: Autumn 2023
The developments in the matter of the Corona pandemic and the ever new opening steps on the part of the Federal Council are gratifying, according to the organizers. Nevertheless, skeptical feedback is received daily from the market as to whether MUT can be successfully held under the current framework conditions. "We take these signals very seriously, as it is our endeavor to organize a successful trade fair for all exhibitors, partners and visitors, so that the trade fair objectives are achieved under the best possible conditions. After critical evaluation, we have decided to cancel MUT 2021 and hold the next event in the fall of 2023. The exact date is yet to be announced," the trade fair organizers announce verbatim.
What are the main topics?
So the next MUT cannot be planned until 2023. The event offers a first-class networking and presentation platform for suppliers of modern environmental technologies. The latest products and services on the main topics of operational environmental protection and environmental management, water and wastewater treatment, waste management, air pollution control, and energy and energy efficiency would meet a professional audience from industry, commerce and the public sector at the 2023 event.
The premiere of MUT took place in 2019, in parallel with the Swiss Industrial Fair for Laboratory and Process Technology (Ilmac). According to information, 440 exhibitors were on site at the two trade fairs and 12,270 visitors came to Basel.
