"One digital twin" instead of digital twins

The vision of the "One Digital Twin" is to be seen as the central building block for future smart factories including supply chain management and Industry 4.0 as well as the Internet of Things. The first limited applications exist in practice, e.g. for production areas at one location or for transportation chains from the Far East to Europe. Many individual isolated digital twins are not a solution!
