From spent grains to new products: Europe's largest food upcycling plant went into operation at Brauerei Locher AG on September 11, 2024. Brewing beer in particular is an energy- and resource-intensive process. Sustainable use of raw materials has therefore long been the order of the day, as we learn in conversation with Aurèle Meyer from Locher Brewery and Philip Bucher from Chopfab Boxer.
