Around 25 years after its foundation, the digitization specialist DTI Schweiz AG is now also represented in Germany with its own company. Cologne-based DTI GmbH is a 100%ige subsidiary of DTI Schweiz AG with central headquarters in Wil SG. The DTI Group currently comprises more than 30 employees, who have been working on the central question of digitizing business processes since the company was founded: How can the full potential be extracted from incoming data and made digitally usable? With its comprehensive expertise in Intelligent Data Capture, Enterprise Search, Content Analytics as well as Information Management, DTI Schweiz AG is one of the pioneers in the digitization of data in all areas. In the meantime, the system integrator has developed into a comprehensive solution provider for medium-sized companies and enterprise customers, which understands the challenge of digitization primarily as a business enabler.

Competence center for innovative digitization

The business of DTI GmbH in Cologne is headed by the managing directors Kai David (49) and Daniel Szlapka (36). Kai David, most recently Sales Director at Top Image Systems (TIS), brings more than 20 years of experience in software sales at enterprise level to the company and will focus primarily on expanding sales structures and acquiring new customers. Daniel Szlapka also worked at TIS and was responsible for projects and PreSales as Director and brings almost 20 years of experience in the market, from application development to process consulting. His focus at DTI is on consulting and delivery. The common goal is the strategic expansion in the area of business development and new technologies.

Since the acquisition of TIS by the US company Kofax in 2019, a market for services around the "eFLOW" solution has emerged. With a team of experienced know-how bearers and eFLOW key players, DTI serves this market as the official service provider of Kofax/TIS, among others.

At the heart: the technical data hub

DTI's experts have experience in mapping and implementing digitization processes in a wide range of industries. At the heart of the DTI portfolio is the Core Platform for Enterprise Information & Content Management, which uses innovative AI technologies to digitize incoming mail, automate financial and business processes, and structure incoming information.

Digitization specialist sees potential in Germany

"We are very pleased to be able to further intensify our business in Germany on the topic of digital data management together with experienced experts such as Kai David and Daniel Szlapka," says Andreas Heckel, CEO of DTI Schweiz AG. "They understand the interfaces as well as the customers and can optimally contribute their know-how to us and our customers." Heckel sees considerable potential in Germany in particular in the further realization of digital processes in companies. DTI Schweiz AG has traditionally also been active in Germany since its founding, but until now it did not have its own national subsidiary.
