International industry meeting place with Swiss Pavilion

Planning for Ifat 2022 in Munich, the world's largest trade show for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management, is in full swing. Exhibitors from all over the world, at least it is hoped, will present their technologies and solutions from May 30 to June 3, 2022.

The Ifat in Munich is the world's largest environmental trade fair, with over 3,000 exhibitors from almost 60 countries and regions and more than 140,000 professionals. It could be realized for the last time in 2018. With its 260,000 m2 of exhibition space, the trade event offers a complete range of environmental technology and solutions: from drinking water supply to wastewater disposal or waste and raw materials management; in 2022, the circular economy is particularly favored. In concrete terms, it is a matter of closing ranks with industry in order to close raw material cycles. This begins with product design and extends to recycling and the use of recycled materials. Innovations in pollutant management, sustainable road construction and mineral engineering will also be presented at Ifat 2022. Alternative forms of propulsion, such as hydrogen and electric mobility for municipal vehicles, will also be on the agenda.

Also this time with Swiss Pavilion

At the upcoming event, numerous international joint stands will once again present their know-how, including the
Switzerland. It is planned that a Swiss Pavilion (cf. under Swissenviro) will be present in the "Water and Wastewater" hall area, but also in the "Waste Treatment and Recycling" area
will.

Hybrid event

Like other events, Ifat 2022 will offer an on-site experience but also enable digital participation - the trade show event is becoming hybrid. According to the organizers, digital offerings will complement what is happening in Munich. Anyone interested can benefit from the Ifat network, even if traveling to Munich is not possible, they said. The highlights of the conference program are also to be accessible online.
