Eco Swiss with new managing director

The Board of Eco Swiss has been intensively engaged in the search for a new managing director. From 106 applications received, several candidates were invited for interviews. On February 24, 2021, the board of directors finally decided unanimously in favor of Dr. Ivan Raffainer. He will take up his position at Eco Swiss on July 1, 2021, the organization announced today.

A chemical engineer ETH

Ivan Raffainer is a chemical engineer ETH and worked for several years in the chemical industry and as an energy consultant after his dissertation. According to information, he has a broad expertise in process management, chemical and energy management as well as a wide network to administrations and industry.

Nina Bachmann, the current managing director ad interim, will hand over the business to Ivan Raffainer at the end of June.

Eco Swiss sees itself as an organization of the Swiss economy for environmental protection, occupational safety and health protection.  (rs)
