Open-i: Innovation at the highest level
On November 21 and 22, 2024, the Kongresshaus Zurich will open its doors for Open-i, the new NZZ innovation conference. Under the motto "Bringing Swiss Innovation to Life", the conference brings together key players from business, science and politics.

Switzerland is regarded as a global leader in terms of innovative strength. To secure this status, it needs a platform that promotes exchange between different players. "This is exactly where Open-i comes in: it brings together SMEs, start-ups, large corporations, investors and academic thought leaders. The aim is to initiate new collaborations and actively shape the future of the Swiss innovation landscape," says Corine Blesi, Managing Director, NZZ Connect.

In addition to other inspiring keynotes and deep-dive sessions, participants can look forward to interactive innovation labs, experience zones and the ETH Industry Day, which will be integrated into Open-i for the first time and thus made accessible to a broad audience. Participants will gain exclusive insights into the latest technological developments and research results and can network with up-and-coming spin-offs.
Another highlight is the presentation ceremony for the 36th Swiss Technology Award, Switzerland's most important technology prize. It recognizes outstanding achievements by young technology companies and provides a platform for innovations that will shape the market of tomorrow.
