Canon Switzerland celebrates double success with its partners
Canon Switzerland and its partners had every reason to celebrate: at this year's Canon Partner Think Tank on September 12, 2024 at the historic JED in Schlieren, the company not only presented awards for outstanding achievements, but also announced new record market shares that would not have been possible without the close cooperation with its partners.
This year, the annual partner event took place on September 12, 2024 at the JED venue in Schlieren - a location with a special history. The building used to serve as the NZZ printing plant, but today it is an impressive location for events and functions.
As part of the event, Canon recognized its partners in nine different award categories for their exceptional performance. The prize is awarded to companies that have significantly driven the joint market success for Canon systems and solutions through their strong performance in 2023, such as the Service Excellence Award, which was presented to Witzig Alteco Digital Services AG.
In addition to the celebratory awards, there is another reason to celebrate: Canon Switzerland has achieved historic records in several areas on a 12-month basis as at July 2024. Despite a declining overall market, Canon Switzerland, according to IDC1 The company increased both its market share in the A3 color multifunction printer segment and the number of A3/A4 multifunction printers sold to new highs, further consolidating its market leadership. These successes would not have been possible without the close and trusting cooperation with its partners.
Karl Heinz-Pritz, Head of Partner Channel, Canon (Schweiz) AG, explains: "With these awards, we would like to thank our partners for their trusting and successful cooperation and congratulate all the winners. Your dedicated commitment and outstanding achievements have made a significant contribution to strengthening the Canon brand and achieving new record figures".
In addition to celebrating these successes, participants were treated to an interactive program that offered in-depth insights into Canon's strategies and solutions. A particular highlight was the inspiring presentation by Matthias Mattenberger, CEO of the Mattenberg Group, on the topic of "Strategic Brandtelling". He emphasized the crucial importance of targeted brand communication, which is more important than ever in today's oversaturated market.
The event ended with a joint dinner, where the partners had the opportunity to round off the successful day together.
