Change in the Skyguide Board of Directors
Skyguide's Annual General Meeting has elected Aldo C. Schellenberg as the new Chairman of the air navigation service provider's Board of Directors. He succeeds Walter T. Vogel. Vice-Chairwoman Anne Bobillier is stepping down. The Annual General Meeting elected Linda de Winter and Annette Rinck as new members of the Board of Directors.
At Skyguide's Annual General Meeting on May 8, 2024, Aldo C. Schellenberg was elected as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Swiss air navigation service provider. The previous Chairman, Walter T. Vogel, is stepping down after nine years in office. Vice-Chairwoman Anne Bobillier also stepped down at the Annual General Meeting after ten years on the Board of Directors. Linda de Winter Kohler and Annette Rinck, two proven experts in digital transformation and corporate development, will succeed her.
Aldo C. Schellenberg has held various positions in the Swiss Armed Forces, most recently as Corps Commander and Deputy Chief of the Armed Forces and Head of Operations Command. He holds a doctorate in economics from the University of Zurich and a postgraduate degree in business law from the University of Bern. He also holds a CAS in General Management for Board Members.
Linda de Winter has been Chief Information Officer (CIO) and a member of the Executive Board of Swisscard AECS GmbH since April 2023. She previously worked at Swiss Post from 2016 as Head of Development and subsequently as Head of Strategy and Chief Operating Officer (COO) as well as a member of the IT Executive Board. She also held various positions at Swisscom, including in product management and the outsourcing service desk for business customers. Linda de Winter holds a degree in Business Administration, a Master of Science in Telecommunications, an MBA in Strategy and Financial Management and a CAS in General Management for Board Members.
Annette Rinck has been President and CEO of Leica Microsystems, a global provider of solutions for life sciences, medical technology and industry, since January 2022. For the past seven years, she has worked at Honeywell, most recently as General Manager for Global Brands in Energy Management and as a member of the Transportation System Division management team. Prior to that, she held various management positions at Eaton Electric, Caterpillar and the BMW Group. Annette Rinck has been a member of the Board of Directors of Pilatus Flugzeugwerke since May 2022. She holds a doctorate in applied business administration and communication sciences and is an alumni of the IMD Business School in Lausanne.
Aldo C. Schellenberg pays tribute to the achievements of Walter T.
