Change of management at Luzi AG: New era under Roland Altenburger

After more than a quarter of a century of outstanding leadership, Jürg Koller is stepping down from his position as Global CEO. He will be succeeded by Roland Altenburger, who previously served as CEO Switzerland and is now assuming overall responsibility for the company. Altenburger will be supported in his new role by Marc Vogel, who will be promoted from Head of Sales to Chief Operating Officer (COO) and thus also join the Executive Board. Christoph Heil, who was previously responsible for sales in Europe, has been announced as the new Head of Sales.

During Koller's tenure, Luzi AG has grown from an SME with annual sales of CHF 16.9 million in 1998 to a global leader in the industry, with consolidated sales of CHF 113 million in 2023. The return of a member of the Altenburger owner family to the management position marks an important milestone for the company.

The new management team has set itself the goal of continuing the impressive growth path of recent years. The ambition is clearly defined: Luzi AG is to establish itself as one of the world's ten largest companies in the industry in the medium term. With a solid foundation, a strong team and a clear vision, Luzi AG is ready to write new chapters in its success story.
