Greenovation Summit - "Eastern Switzerland" presents pioneering sustainability initiatives
The Eastern Switzerland media platform "Die Ostschweiz" presents the "Greenovation Summit", a new event format that makes sustainable concepts from Eastern Swiss companies and organizations visible to a wider audience. The "Greenovation Summit" will take place on September 12, 2024 at the Bühler Cubic in Uzwil and is designed as a regional conference for decision-makers in SMEs in the field of sustainability.
The "Greenovation Summit" promises inspiration, knowledge exchange and networking for decision-makers from companies in Eastern Switzerland. The focus will be on sustainability as the central theme. Companies are required to adapt production processes, manufacture products with different materials, strengthen responsible action in the corporate culture and constantly develop forward-looking ideas.
At the "Greenovation Summit", renowned entrepreneurs will share their experience and provide insights into specific sustainability projects. The program includes presentations from Rausch AG, St.Gallen-Bodensee-Tourismus, the University of St.Gallen (HSG), St.Galler Kantonalbank, Step Zero, Bühler AG, Zindel + Co AG and Rechenzentrum Ostschweiz. Start-ups will also have their stage at the Summit. Martin Oswald, Publishing Director of "Die Ostschweiz", is responsible for the program: "We don't want to philosophize ideologically about sustainability, but rather show in concrete terms what companies in Eastern Switzerland are doing to act ecologically and responsibly." The aim of the summit is to inspire and provide concrete ideas.
The event will also provide an opportunity to network and exchange ideas with other decision-makers in Bühler's inspiring Cubic. The event will be hosted by SRF presenter Mona Vetsch. At the end of the event, the first "Greenovation Award" for particularly innovative projects will be presented over dinner.
As the organizer, "Die Ostschweiz" reports independently on the economy, politics and society in Eastern Switzerland. In addition to the "Ostnight", an event for club members, the "Greenovation Summit" is the first major conference organized by "Die Ostschweiz".
