New management wanted for the SVUT office
The Swiss Association for Environmental Technology (SVUT) is intensively committed to the development of a safe and future-oriented environmental, energy, waste and water management. It is the oldest and today one of the most important trade associations of the environmental technology industry in Switzerland.
SVUT is politically and economically independent. Its members are companies, experts and service providers from all areas of the cleantech industry. The companies organized in SVUT occupy a leading position nationally and internationally in terms of technology, processes, know-how and qualifications. The close cooperation with national and international partners from science, economy and administration makes SVUT a competent network for the networking of its members in scientific, technical and legal matters. To support the implementation of the adopted strategy we are looking for the
Management of the Office of Association Administration on a mandate basis,
which assists the volunteer-led board of SVUT with practical expertise. Together with the board and the professional committees of the association, you develop and coordinate the positions on the relevant topics in the area of association management and communication with the primary tasks:
- Secretarization within the framework of the overall administration;
- Membership administration with management of the ClubDesk;
- Organization of approx. 4 contact forums and specialist conferences per year on behalf of the Board of Directors;
- Invitation to meetings of the Board and Advisory Board, and General Assembly;
- Administrative support of specialized groups;
- Taking minutes and correspondences;
- Conceptual leadership of membership recruitment and its support;
- Editorial support for association organ and other professional journals;
- Maintenance and updating of the homepage as well as 4-6 newsletters per year;
- Representation of SVUT at events of partner institutions in consultation with the Board.
For this challenging part-time position, we are looking for a professionally experienced individual who has the infrastructure to manage an association administration. You have good communication skills in German and English and convince with your solution-oriented approach, high independence and personal skills.
